Papertrey Ink March 2015 Blog Hop

Good Wednesday morning everyone, it's that time again... Time for Papertrey Ink's monthly blog hop

Each month a new inspiration piece is provided to spark your creativity! This month's picture is below so you can see how I did :)

I decided to use the color palette of the inspiration piece and did my card in aqua blues, greens, yellows and browns.

My first plan was to create some kind of a piece that would mimic the cabinet but then my Brushed Blooms stamp set arrived and the plan changed!

I decided that I would create a stylized version of the wallpaper with the flower stamps and bring my sentiment across the front like the table in the photo. I then added some of the floral pieces as die cuts to "place flowers on the table" so to speak...

The final addition, only some of which is visible, is Wink of Stella on the popped-up flower and tiny dots of Liquid Pearls in different colors to accent the pieces they're placed on.

I'm loving how it turned out... sort of country, a little classic... great colors and this stamp set is a must-have for spring!

  7. Love your flowered wallpaper. This flower is just gorgeous, and I really like how you did your sentiment. The vellum is such a great idea because you aren't covering up any of your pretty background.
