Color Outside The Lines with Live Love Cards

Two posts in one day... this is what happens when you're sick and you get off track!

In any case, I recently joined a card making community called Live Love Cards. It was created by a gal named Darlene DeVries who's videos and blog I've followed for quite some time. So when the site became available it was a no-brainer to join up.

The card above was made for the member challenge for the month of April with the theme Rainbows. I know it's a sort of scattered rainbow but I like the overall effect and the splotches and splatters here and there fit the sentiment perfectly!

If you're looking for a cool place to hang out, a place to learn some cool stuff and see some new products in action you should definately check out Love Love Cards. Membership costs only $2.50 a month and earns you some pretty awesome access... right now my name is in the pool to win a Misti!

Supplies Used:
Paper - Black & White Cardstock
Stamps - Stampendous Color Outside, Stampin' Up Gorgeous Grunge
Inks - Simon Says Schoolhouse Red, Orange Peel, Sunshine, Green Leaf, Caribbean Blue & Hydrangea; Versafine Onyx Black
Other - The Paper Studio Enamel Dots

  1. Cool idea to scatter the rainbow! It took me a while to realize it was a stamp set that you used for the drops. I have liked what I have seen of gorgeous grunge. I may have to get it for myself.

  2. Hello Stephanie: Gorgeous Grunge is a stamp set that, when it came out, I didn't even give it a second glance, I thought it was ugly and useless but now, Oh My Goodness!!! I LOVE IT!! It turned out to be one of the most versatile stamp sets ever, you can use it at any time of the year, what ever the occasion, with any color, it always looks beautiful and it adds such an interesting and fabulous detail to your cards.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your card, what a amazingly creative way to represent the rainbow, it's so beautiful so, if you don't mind, I will definitely CASE it.
I also want to thank you for your sweet comment about my Rainbow card, I'm very new to blogging, I started just last December but I'm loving every minute of it.
Thanks again for visiting my blog and I hope it wont be your last time.
    Many inky hugs.
    Maria.
