Today I present to you my one layer card with splatters made for the Less Is More Challenge Week 219.
It seems like all the cards I've made recently have been yellow to some degree or another so I wanted to make this one with other colors and chose a soft tone palette of inks by Simon Says Stamp.
My splatters are stamped... I tried and tried to make real splatters that went where I wanted them to and looked like I wanted them to but after many failed attempts and making a HUGE mess... I stamped them... Gorgeous Grunge to the rescue!
I don't make many one layer cards as I'm never really satisfied with them. It's like I don't feel like I've done "enough"... silly but just one of my many endearing little quirks... (wink, wink)!
I do like the way this one turned out, the colors work well together and I was able to create a grouping with the Paper Smooches foliage stamps that I liked... Lovely!
Supplies Used:
Paper - Stamper's Select White Cardstock (PTI)
Stamps - Gorgeous Grunge (SU); Botanicals II (PS); Happy for You (PTI)
Inks - Khaki, Lavender, Cotton Candy, Mint, Surf Blue & Sea Glass (SSS)
