It's Finally Happened!

I'm very excited this morning to introduce you to my first ever CAS Shaker Card!

I made today's card for the Less is More: Week 126 Challenge where we were asked to CASE one of the design team members' cards.

I chose to CASE Sarah's card for a couple of reasons...

1. My daughter's name is Sara... gotta go with my girl!

2. I adore shaker cards and love making them!

I followed Sarah's design pretty closely on this one but instead of a wedding card I decided on a card design that could be for anyone, anytime.

I kept the card square and maintained a lot of white space. My shaker window is in the top left, like the original however mine is a circle instead of a heart. I kept the color scheme to white and a metallic going with a rich gold for my glitter paper hello and the embossed sentiment.

I kept two small elements around the shaker window and to keep the look fairly simple, I went with transparent sequins!

I'm really loving how this card came out! I think it's a really good CASE of Sarah's original card and it has the clean and simple look we're going for!

  1. Stephanie I'm thrilled you chose to CASE my card and you've done it brilliantly.
Love how you've kept certain elements but still made it your own and it's a super duper shaker card - once you've done the one you'll want to do them all the time!!!
